About Great Lakes Bids
Great Lakes Bids is a new Michigan business, started in 2026. We help small businesses find, qualify, and answer government solicitations: federal (SAM.gov) and Michigan state and local.
Being straight with you
- We are new. We don’t have client testimonials, a win record, or past awards to point to yet. That’s why we offer founding-client prices and publish a real sample instead.
- We use AI tools, with review. Software helps us read long solicitations, pull out every requirement, and write first drafts. Every deliverable is checked line by line against the solicitation before you see it. If a solicitation limits or requires disclosure of AI use, we follow it and tell you.
- You stay in charge. You review, sign, certify, and submit your own bid. We draft only from facts you give us and from the solicitation, and we flag any claim that lacks support.
- We are not the government. We are a private company with no contacts with, and no influence over, any contracting official.
Why flat fees
We never take a success fee or a percentage of an award. A flat price means you know the cost before we start, and our pay never depends on how we steer your bid. (For federal work, see FAR 3.4 and 52.203-5 on contingent fees.)
